Jenni78

As I said a couple weeks ago, the wrinkle is still there if his ears are held up. When sleeping, ears relaxed, the spot is almost impossible to find. It's more like an excess skin fold that pops up when he's awake and alert. Here he is today:

Here he is closing his eyes because of sun, ears partially pricked. Above this pic, sound asleep, head relaxed.

2 weeks ago (above, next to Eliot and Ellie)

Seems to be growing in, little by little. He has the best bone and the best feet. And what a head and expression. If not "pretty," he's going to garner some looks while out in public when he matures, I'll bet. He has this "don't screw with me" look about him that cracks me up. I've grown rather fond of him.....LOL.

Here's the original thread...just figured I'd post an update since a few people had asked about him. http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/forum.read?mnr=768802-puppy-with-weird-headanyone-seen-anything-like-this

Oh no! he's developed the dreaded "Puppy ear comb over!" good luck hiding your wrinkle little guy. I thnk he's very interesting an quite good looking. If i was into shepherds i'd consider him. (He's going to be way too furry for my taste, but he's a cutie none the less.)
I'm interested in seeing how he  grows up.

Fry, he ALWAYS had the "combover". I started calling him that when he was just a tiny tot. Only it was his other ear. His ears actually stand sometimes, early in the day. By afternoon, they fall. He has quite a noggin on him- when his ears are up and he stares at something, really serious, I can just picture him big. He'll stop someone in their tracks if he keeps that look when he's full-grown.

I'm starting to get comfortable enough that I may think about letting him go soon. I really don't think there's a thing really "wrong" with him. I certainly have seen zero evidence of anything odd about him except the line. I gave them their parvo & distemper shot at 11 weeks per Dr. Dodd's protocol and he was totally fine, so there again is more evidence against the theory that he's some genetic nightmare with a slew of auto-immune issues and won't make it to his first birthday.

I had wanted to keep this whole litter longer since they're foreign to me, but I'm starting to let them go, as they're 12 weeks on Thursday. Ellie left this week, to a local home.

Thanks, all.

Beetree, you already have one blue dog. No fair monopolizing, lol.

He is gorgeous. What a face on him. I love him.
I knew there were no blue cooties, or bad voodoo with him.

LOL@Jenni

Hey, you can't blame a girl for trying! Wink Smile I do love how he is so focused on ... you... whenever it is picture time. What a look to him, I agree. Who cares about the funny part! Any one can have a perfect dog, just read some of these posts... not a damn thing wrong with any of 'em!

Beetree, he *is* technically available...but 3 would really upset your harmony you've got w/MoJo and Baby Rhino. 3 is a tough number- changes the whole game, ime.

He's a little tank- not the biggest but the heaviest and I am in love with his head and temperament. He was always a little toughie. He was the one I brought to the vet w/the swollen glands and the raspy voice. The vet was shocked at his strength then and I struggled w/giving him his Amoxy- he was tough and strong from the get-go. It should not be that difficult to give a 2 week old puppy medicine, but he's always been a fighter. Doesn't start fights w/the others, always focuses on me, not hyper or hectic, but not a marshmallow. Quiet determination. The strong silent type, LOL.

These are still my favorites!
