I see a lot of people do just bitework with these dogs i do bitework and tracking with narcotics detection. Just wondering how people think about dual purpose apbt?

If a dog can work it can work. Virtually any breed of dog can track and do detection work, not all dogs can do bite work. If a dog can do bite work there is no reason that it can not track and do detection work. More dogs can track / do detection work than can do bite work. Regardless of breed a dog that can work can work. I see no reason why a apbt could not do both, granted it had the right temperament and drives.
