Information required breed of my Dog - Page 1

I recently adopted this dog. I need urgent information about its breed and traits. If this can be a good guard dog?

I wouldn't worry on whether or not he could be a good guard dog. Spend time training him, building a good bond, also have him checked out for parasites as he is way too skinny.  Definitely a Pit Bull mix though.

pitbull type mix.  he's pretty cute.  Can't tell from photos if he's a gaurd dog, but I'm sure he'll at least be a helpful visual deterrent.

Meanwhile, my personal reaction is that I would buy a pup from these 2
in a heartbeat - cream of West German Showlines in there !  I ran a Mating
Check, gives you linebreeding of:
5,5 - 4,5  on VA2  Hill v Farbenspiel
5,5            on SG  Lina v Arminius.

You also have a healthy chunk of von Arlett bloodline; plus my own fave rave Esko
v Danishen Hof.

Subject to that being the sort of dog you are looking for, and getting confirmation
on hips, elbows etc,  IMO that's a "nice buy".   But don't just take my / one person's
word for it, do your research.  Find out as much as you can about who is doing
the breeding and selling in this case.

He kinda looks like a pitt/lab mix. My friend has one and his dog looks almost exactly like yours, just a lot thicker.
