Hi,
When you test a dog for DM, will it really affect the result if you swab your dog after his or her feeding time or should you definately not take the sample after their feeding time?

Adding additional DNA can cause inaccuracies in the results.

The instructions state that test sample should be taken 2 hours after eating.

I understand that. My friend DM tested her male and his result came back as a Carrier. She thinks it might be because she sampled him right after his meal but wasnt sure. She said she's going to redo the test. I tested my female long before they're fed. Thanks for the info.
