Hello all. Occassionally an interesting thread appears in which an individual writes something of which I would like to keep a hard copy. If I try to print it, the whole thread tries to print rather than just the window I want. Can someone tell me how I can print only the page or windeow I want? Thanks. ecs

You could copy and paste it into Wordpad, Word or any other document software. Search copy and paste at yahoo or google and you will find directions.

You could also save a screen shot by pressing the button on your keyboard that says "prt scr" (it may also have other letters on that button too) and then pasting it into a editing program. What I find most simple is to open up Paint (if you don't have it you can download it for free) and press the "shift" and "insert" buttons at the same time. Then click on "file" and do a "save as" (give it a name) this will save it as a jpeg or jpg (like a photo)
Screen Shots will only copy what you see on your screen, everything except for your cursor. It will not copy the entire page that you are on, only what you are looking at on the screen.

I find screenshots are the best tool to copy here.

Thanks guys. Not as simple as I was looking for but looks as if it works and that was what I was looking for. Thanks again. ecs

Well, I think I have found another similar way. I took an entry I wanted to make a hard copy of and copied it. Then I pasted it into the "reply" portion to the thread. I printed the COPIED REPLY and got my hard copy. ecs
