Any one ever go to throw your dog a ball, he takes off to get a head start, you throw the ball... and hit him in the back of the head!!!

What do you do? I know what I did, LOL

beetree, too funny!
I've totally done this too.  The other one that cracks me up is when I throw Dugan the ball, he runs a head of it, it falls somewhere behind him, he stops and looks around "frantically" like, where'd it go, where'd it go?! LOL

Ohhh yes... especially as I've gotten older, and can't throw the ball as far as I used to!

Even WORSE: Throw a STICK for the dog! Most of the time, they just shrug it off, and grab the stick/ball anyway!

I have perfected  throwing  the ball straight down on the ground and have in bounce back up into the underside of your nose move.  You see stars for a nice length of time... i mean who does that :)  Some days it seems i would be a good passanger on a short bus.

Must be a SL thing...............lol        my WL dogs turn around and catches what ever I throw at them.......they dont get "hit in the head"............it isn't an option on my "girly throw".................   they expect it.............and deal with it..............

Go away Yogie! You don't know squat. My SL dog is smarter with anticipation than your robot dog any day.

Ha I've done it! I have a Chuck-it, and I put a new rubber ball in it, and went to throw it and it didn't release like it should, and released too late and smacked Luna right on the back. I was like OMG I'M SOOOOOO SORRY! Needless to say she didn't like the Chuck-it for a while

by beetree on 04 February 2012 - 01:02

yeah, "ThE LOOK", I got that, too!

but i let it ride, like nothing doing... because......YOGIE my dog is so in tune with me, he really didn't understand. Your dogs, think stuff lobbed at them need a bite.  Now, tell me, who is right? LOL

Another klutzy thing to do: throw the ball as a reward for a successful track, then find halfway through the dog's run that the tracking leash is wrapped around your ankles!

A secod or two later, you and the dog both do an unexpected platz!

LMAO @ Sunsilver!!

I haven't beamed her (yet), but I do have a horrible tendency to bounce the frisbee off of the shed, or throw it on top. She is very patient about it, while I go grab the broom to swat it off, but I do get the "really?" look.
