quick question, if I bought a pup that is ckc reg. what does a person have to do to get it akc. reg.?

AKC ask for DNA Swab copy of the CKC reg. one side view standing one front view sitting pictures , this is what I had to do 4 years ago when I got my male from Canada.

I'm still going through the process with one of my dogs, and am waiting for the CKC to send me the transfer of ownership and pedigree. But I think AKC asks for a 3 generation pedigree in addition to the registration, pictures, and DNA.
