Says this dog was 26, yet the article mentions a 28 y/o beagle?
Either way, that is damn good for a dog! We have friends with a 16 y/o lab/shepherd mix, Dutchess. She is nothing compared to those dogs!

Dawulf- I saw the same difference in ages and am/was confused! It is so hard to believe there were dogs that hold! Wow.

The article was referring to the previous worlds oldest dog, which was a 28 yr old beagle.

17 is something special. This was a dog we picked up off the streets when she was a puppy. She never had a sick day in her life.
