Dax was beautiful - RIP
I don't know if bloat is genetic and runs in family lines, or if its a management issue similar to collic in horses, or a little of both.
It happens too often and is always so sad.

There can be a genetic component to it but I don't feel it is totally a genetic disease; lots of factors to be considered. So sorry to hear about Dax, such a beautiful dog. RIP. Nan
