Does anyone know of any natural (even just a more helpful if not complete deterrent) to keeping Ticks off of dogs?

Thanks,
Vixen

Take a look at DE. Just make sure it is human grade and not the pool grade.

Thanks for help,

We have used DE for years and it has worked wonders.  We use it on the dogs, around the kennels, and the entire yard.  We get it at our local Feed and Seed store, 6 lbs for $15.00. Its goes a long way if used properly.

There is a website with lots of information on it. I will have to look for it if you are interested. Not sure if I can post the link here but if I can I will. Just let me know.

seen very few this year yet. I just check my dogs every day, I sprinkle seven dust around the building that helps I do not use toxic on my dogs, if you happen to have puppies I found a way to keep ticks of them before the puppies  learn to walk, simply go to walmart to the craft section and pick up a roll of that syhtetic filling for making quilts, that stuff is like a spider web the ticks get tangled and stuck, these little sand ticks, the ticks are not able to get to the dogs because the dog sleeps on that blanket.
the blanket is odorless none alergie just trow in washing maschine holds up for several washings, the material is very affordable.
