You can't post just one! Sooo, the sun finally making an appearance inspired me to take more photos of Chase--of course. :)
One of the things I love about him is how expressive his face is.

MR4166, I'm not much of a "pedigree person" but Chase is a third generation working ranch dog. His sire and dam would be meaningless to anyone who doesn't run cattle and saw them working, but I believe his grandsires are on the PDB if you do a search. His grandsires are Rikkor vom Fleischerheim and Godalis Enzo. His granddams are an Am Ch Dan-Ann's Corporate Executive daughter and an Am Sel Ex Ch Covy Tucker Hill's Check Marc granddaughter.
I have no interest in showlines Vs working lines or American Vs the rest of the world controversies. I just need a dog to help me work my livestock, guard the house, and be clear headed with a strong desire to please. It helps that he's so great looking, but I fear he's not fashionable enough to win any conformation shows. He lacks rear angulation for the Am show ring and is oversize for the Germans. He's 28 inches at the wither and 110 pounds of lean muscle. He can knock a 6' 5" rustler right off his feet, which he did last summer. He's simply the best dog I've ever owned. :)
