Dear God:
Let me start by saying thank you for the warm up last week that sent us into the low sixties, for that i,m ever thankfull. I was able to track 2 days and train outside without the aid of a bonfire. I bought 10 packages of hot dogs and chopped them up and bagged them so I could quickly grab a bag my dog and go tracking( 2 large trials coming up shortly) so I think you can realize my dismay at the 1/4 inch of sleet and ice and now 2 inch,s(scratch that now 4) of snow we have gotten today...
Your humble minion

Snow, sleet, and cold weather are all sinful words. We're enjoying our 60s and 70s here still, due for some 40s tomorrow, and then into the mid 50s-mid 60s for the rest of the week. Springs not too far away!

Saturday was beautiful here - in the 50's. I had finally chisled all the ice off the ramp and patio out back. Cleared the stairs that go down to the drive and saw just how much stuff the puppies had dragged outside.
Today we have 5 or so inches of snow, the roads are solid ice, you can't even see the stairs to the drive anf my husband got called into work on his day off and is now about a 100 miles away where he will stay until they finally decide he can come home. He works for the electric company.
