Most of you don't know my Poe. He is my heart and my soul and I had to ease his pain and let him go this week. Needless to say it was devestating to me. Poe loved to play in Schutzhund and got his SchH A later in life. I wish we had found it earlier as prior injuries prevented him from going on due to the wall and the jump would be hard on him. He was an exceptional dog. A tribute video I made that includes some schutzhund footage and pictures:

My deepest sympathies go out to you at the loss of your Poe. He was a dog that did it all, what a personality too, is what I could tell from your tribute. I had to cry a few tears for you, too.

Beautiful tribute...what a character he must have been. Beautiful dog. I am so sorry for your loss and I too cry as I feel your pain. It is obvious he was well loved and I commend you for having love enough to end his pain although it greived you to say goodbye. That alone speaks volumes of your commitment to him.

So sorry for your loss of your bestfriend. You know somethimes you turn a video on, but never watch it all the way though. I couldnt take my eyes off of this one. What an amazing dog he is. Almost humanlike. Amazing tribute for and Amazing bestfreind!

Oh no, I was sorry to see this thread, and I am so sorry for your loss. I very much enjoyed your tribute to your very special dog, as with the other posters, it moved me to tears.

I did not know your Poe ! I wish I had and am sorry I will never meet him! After watching the video tribute I am gonna mis Poe! Yes I am gonna mis that wonderful boy ! I am so sorry for your loss!

Oh, I am so sorry. When I read the topic title, I got a knot in my stomach. I knew he was getting older, but not old enough! I absolutely fell in love with him when you wrote his birthday tribute post way back when. What a special boy. Can't tell you how sorry I am; he made an impact on me and I never even met him.
