Jenni, you gave me the correct answer! Regular Smile Two is my limit.

Just, that I do like him and think he will remain a healthy dog with a substantial presence. I hope whomever his new owners end up to be, they will continue to share his puppy hood and growth with update pictures, too, for the curious fans of blue dogs.

Jenni he has such an attitude! What a little bruiser! Wish I was healthy!!! But right now the 3 I have are it for me! But give him a cuddle for me, bet he squirms away from cuddly stuff, lol! And Eliot was placed? Sigh***I hope all the new owners send updates & pictures....this has been the most fun litter to watch... jackie harris

Eliot is still here- leaving tomorrow, I bet. Out of state. They're over the moon about him. Ewan will likely be leaving Saturday, out of state as well, and Ember possibly tomorrow- but the guy lives a few blocks from me!!! Yay! She needs some supervision and he wants someone to connect him with good trainers and a good club and help him get more into the GSD world so it should work nicely. I won't feel like I'm sending her off and wishing them luck. I don't know what club I'll send him to. With her being half showlines, I hope she's accepted, and he's new, and so often new people are not met with a warm welcome anyway. Filius' owner still trains at his place so worst case, if the very close club isn't welcoming, I'm sure she'll be welcomed at her dad's.

Hard to see them go, but it's time. I'm glad I kept them this extra month- they have developed a lot and I have a much better idea of what that breeding brought than I would if I'd let them all go at 8 weeks, though they did stay fairly consistent. The next 2 years will tell a lot more, of course. They are all showing a lot more drive these past two weeks and there is less of a span between them. The boys often are later bloomers as far as tugs and balls and all that jazz, but I didn't see that quite so clearly in Capri's litters as I did this one. All the boys have stepped it up a few notches in the last 2 weeks.

Here's another older pic of Ely I like, too. I think he was about 7 weeks in this one. No one else has that muzzle, not even Eirik.

So thoughtful...

Jackie, I missed a part of your post. The people taking Eliot have already sent me photos of their house, their yard, and their parrot. I'm quite sure we'll see plenty of Eliot!

Maybe I'm just imagining things, but to me his muzzle looks very similar to Jack's muzzle as a pup. (I don't have any pics besides this one, as I didn't own him as a pup) If so, he'll have a nice, blocky muzzle. And might be a bit of an a-hole, not sure if the muzzle and the a-hole tendencies are linked traits ;-)

I'm glad youll see pictures! Please share? That last picture of Comb-over...I hear Samuel L Jackson's voice saying "Are you looking at me? At ME punk?" What an expression!

Comb-over, today.

Mollyandjack, similar, but I think Jack's is more correct. Actually...now that I look at his profile, the angles are very similar to Capri's. He just has a very fat muzzle. It's not that his head is that wide, whereas Jack's whole head is blocky.

I'm dying of curiosity to see what this boy looks like full-grown. He ALMOST looks like he'd be a bicolor. He is the only one whose dark markings run all the way down to his paws, he's the only one who still has toe-penciling, but of course his face has too much tan to be a bi. His ears ruin that and he's developing eyebrows that he didn't have a few weeks ago, so I know he'll be a blue and tan/red, but I think very very dark. Should be striking.

How he manages to look positively dignified with a landing strip in the middle of his head is beyond me. LOL

Wow.... he stares straight through you, doesn't he? What an expression! Heart

Oh yeah, I agree he doesn't have the same overall expression - everything above the muzzle looks different to me. He is a very determined looking little guy - his eyes are so intense!
