Champi boy is coming along so nicely - Page 2

Love the bark nice and intense gains control of himself fairly quickly. Good strengths in grips. Definitely need to work on flights. If he's mine I'd like to see more fight. But you probably have kept him cam in bite work from young because of your disability. Nice dog. And fair play to going out the every day to work and teach him. No excuses for anyone when we see this 😊😉

He has a lot of fight. A little too much. He started out on the suit and he was actually getting a little too strong for me to the point I though I may have to sell him. He's also extremely hard. We had a couple of come to jesus moments so he learned to respect me and become a little more "sensitive" to my needs.
I had to take him from the suit to the sleeve so he didn't want to eat the helper all the time and learned that he can actually possess something. Everything you see in the blind is him. It's all him. There is nothing created. No need to use a whip to fire him up even more. His grips are real. We had to tone him down, we have to keep him "low fight" so he can learn the rules in a very clear way and to keep him safe. I needed obedience on him first before we "unleash the beast" again. Right now, I'm happy that I was able to get into his head a little so he respects me. .

Everything you are saying I can see in this dog. That is why I said you taught him control in the bite work . very strong dog with what seems to be good blanace. Best of luck with him

You know how people always talk about these oldschool dogs? He's it. I can see Olko and Gildo in him. The extreme loyalty (not the same as separation anxiety) to me, the extreme hardness. He was ten months old and had so much pressure put on him, other dogs would have never come back from that and he came out and went right into the helper like it was nothing. I always wondered how our old dogs would have been like if we had the knowledge then what we know now. he's my answer.

WOW Baerenfangs Erbe. Your description in your last two posts gave me goose bumps esp. since I had watched the videos and then read them. He is remarkable. The "come to Jesus"....that made me laugh. I had to do that once with my Police dog (years ago).
The true fight in him is obvious and beautiful.
Love his pedigree too.
