Good to hear!!

july9000

by july9000 on 06 March 2009 - 20:03

I never breed a dog if he/she is not OFA (HIP and Elbows) no matter how wonderful he might be.  And I don't just look at the dog I want to breed, I look at all the dogs in the pedigree. Never bred fair either altought I would if all others in the pedigree were good.

Most of the Select Dogs are OFA now..and if they are not..you better ask yourself some serious question..Doesn't make sense anymore to have a dog that go Select without OFA Hip and Elbows..If you use those dogs you could have some little surprise!

Health is a number one priority for me..temperament and structure comes after..without health..you have nothing..wether it's american or german.

"If your idea of a GSD is a Golden Retriever (don't expect many of them to retrieve) with pointy ears and health problems you never imagined, then the Am. GSD is the dog for you."

Most Goldens don't go thru a lot of commotions and threatening uproars when a stranger appears. My Am Showline girl once charged from the middle of the yard, about 50 feet away, toward a double glass door, when she thought a stranger was going to do me harm. She is generally aloof and even a little shy with people, great very sociable with other dogs.

In terms of practical value as a protecter, most do fine. A gun and the proficiency in using it, plus most GSD's of any line, are useful.

highdesert, I would not have normally repiied to this, but since you have seen fit to call me out, lets set the ground rules. Have you bred or finished any AKC Champions. Please post yours and I will post mine.I've been in this "who's bigger" pissing contest many times and I have yet to come out  short.

Here is my first one, Am. & Can. Champion and a home bred. Went on to many AKC BOB wins.

I am sick of you people who have only key board knowledege of GSD. Bring it on.

highdesert, I am having trouble uploading this pic

Anyway his name is Am./Can.Alfaro's Hot Darn Here I Am Am, his brother was Can Ch.. Alfaro's Hot Rod.

He was bred by myself and my partner at the time. He was finished by Jimmy Moses in the U.S, and Janice Armstrong in Canada, .

He was sold to Betty and Karl Radjevich (both AKC judges) and went on to many BOB wins in AKC.

There are fakers and shakers, and I think you are a faker. If you want to dispute me, go for it.

I did not gain my experience behind a keyboard. Please post your first AKC Ch, and I will post my next one.

ETA:  Am Showlines are garbage. I have spent thousands of $ and more years than I can ever regain to learn this.

If you want to dispute this, I will meet you at the next AKC National (I haven't missed one in 20 years) and let your dog face off with my  first German  dog, Silas vom Silbersee.

Let me know. You know my name and my dog.

While I would not American Show and West Showlines,I do know that this breeder had some good dogs
in her program. Seems she has done quite well in several venues. Back in the late 90's she has a half
sister to my female that she used a lot.

Like I said in my orginal post, Am. S/L are garbage. I have the years invested, the money, and the experience to back up my opinion.

If you want to dispute this, let her roll. I can match you Ch. per Ch. and dog per dog.

I did not give up easily. I had to be beat into submission.

You people who support Am. S/L as a true GSD are either making money from them or are ignorant beyond redemption.
