Hi, just wanted to ask what is a helper seminar, although im miles away and cant join but just curious to know...Thx.

They go thru and teach the mechanics and how to properly present a dog to the judge for bitework in IPO. How to present the sleeve, how to do an escape bite, how to drive, etc. For more advanced helpers they might problem solve training issues with some dogs and at the end they do a classification and you work a mock trial. and that certifies you to do helper work at different level trials if you pass.

Thank you very much Zdog.... Sounds realy interesting..The bitework phase of Schutzhund/IPO has always facinated me....But we dont have anything of that sort here in Pakistan, just conformation shows with no trials...anyways thx.

Khalid, you should start learning and have your countries first trial :) Helps if you have others to learn from though
