Saw a few people looking for his book "Genetics of the German Shepherd Dog". I just recently bought a copy for my mom, it is out of print, and amazon has it for like $200.00 but i got it off of alibris.com for $70.00

Just want to add that this is a great book and every gsd enthusiast should own and read it.  The substantial research on heriitability shows just how much BS goes around as gospel in breeding circles.  The only real deficiency of Willis from my POV is that the DDR dogs are seriously neglected.

Willis mostly focus's on British, American, and German dogs...I think he did avoid alot of the east german and czech lines...but his book is great....TONS of genetic information.  I got my copy off of ebay...there are usually a few on there :)  But it is a book at any enthusiast should try and get...some of it is out of date such as the section on color selection....but for the most part the whole thing is just a wealth of knowledge for anyone who likes the GSD.

I have also been told that abebooks.com is a good place to look :)

I remember about a year ago, when you couldn't find a copy on amazon OR alibris for less than $670!!!!  I think a particular dealer was buying them all up, then selling as "only one in stock" at a time, til the price gained alot of notice (when it was up to about $1670 for a half week), and other owners started to sell.  One of the most valuable "used" titles among ALL published books to my knowledge.  $70 has been a good fair price over the last few years.
