By Stanley Coren. I think this is a great book. Would people like to share their reading list on similar topics?

Loved this book as well as the companion book by Mr. Coren, "The Intelligence Of Dogs'" IMO both should be required reading for any dog lover. They are both well researched with detailed explanations as to his conclusions from that research. I would also add to this list "Body Language and the Emotion of Dogs."

I read an excellent book called "The Dog's Mind" that deals with the physiology of canine behavior and thought. Also, another good book I've read recently is "Animals in Translation" written by a gifted woman whose autism has given her a unique perspective on animal cognition.
