My mother is ready for a new Dobe pup and since she has lost the last 2 at very young ages (heart failure) she is going with European working lines. She's interested in AKC obedience and tracking but mainly a well bred and healthy dog!
We want a pup in the U.S. because she would prefer to make a trip rather than ship. I'd appreciate any recommendations for upcoming litters.

There's a lady in Debbie Zappia's SchH club that has nice Dobes. I don't remember her name, but if you contact Debbie or the club I'm sure they can put you in touch with her. The club is Empire State Working Dog Club, or maybe Empire State SchH club. Google it - I know they have a web page.

Mark Berkowitz (PA) has an awesome female Dobie. I believe she's one of few females in the US that have a SchH3(so I've been told). I don't know him real well, just met him this past weekend and saw his bitch work...nice. Here's some pics of her (copy/paste)

LOL I'm not going to go into the whole working Dobe debate. Basically she just wants a very healthy European bred dog out of Schutzhund titled dogs. She already knows it'll probably hide behind her at the first hint of trouble. Just has to look like it's serious about protecting something.

Joyce Terrell of Magenta Farms and Kennel is a breeder of Dobes. She is located in Alabama, and her husband was into GSD for many years. She imports as well as breeds. She is also a Morgan horse person.If you would like contact info let me know.-Nicole

Wow Nicole. That would take care of all our animal passions in one visit! Morgans, GSD's and Dobes...we'd be in heaven! The Dobe she ends up getting will be living on a Morgan farm:) Shoot me the info when you get a chance. Thanks.
