Hi, has anybody had any experience with placing a tyre in a dog's enclosure to keep them busy. A high drive dog is chewing away at everything and i was considering placing a tyre in their enclosure, but i need more input on this ???

Had one eat two tires off my jeep once with no apparent ill effect.

LOL! I was just going to say my mom had a Dobe that ate tires. She was always having to buy people new ones.

One of the books by the Monks of New Skete ("How To Be Your Dog's Best Friend" probably) has long advised giving penned dogs tires to keep them busy. "Pup Treads" and "Tire-Biters" are 12-14" alternatives, available in pet stores and Walmart. My dogs LOVE them. Rob
