4pack, The best way to find out what your dogs ZW score is to contact Sabine from SV.

Here's a link to the SV website page where you can simply type in your dogs name and hit enter.

4pack, if you dog was born in the US from SV registered parents, go tot he SV site and look up the parents scores. Add the 2 and divide by 2, that will give you your dogs score. Example: 78 + 91 = 169. 169/2=84.5, round up to 85.

I put in my dogs name and it didn't show anything. I will have to get her papers and try with the SZ # to see if that works.
Thanks for the help guys.
I have American born dogs too, is there another way or does someone know the formula?

OK I got it for my pink papered dog. I had to use the SZ #'s of her parents and do the formula. Is there a way to find out US bred dogs?

I have dogs that have no SZ #'s but LOSH, DKK, and DN #'s. Is that just a mess I shouldn't bother with?

The ZW system is for dogs 'a' stamped in Germany. There are breeders that have litters from a stamped parents that send the x rays of their offspring to the SV.
If the parents are not in the system. It's probably a waste of time to research a ZW number from the SV system.
The ZW calculations are updated periodically so the Mother + father divided by 2 formula disappears once the dogs are 'a' stamped and their results are entered into the system. The formula for how the numbers change is not published to my knowledge.
It may be a yardstick measurement. In a litter where 3 females were registered, two with 'a' normal and one fast normal. The 'a' normal dogs retained their previous ZW number and the fast normal dog's ZW went up 10.
