I usually dont say much about dogs on here, but what drives me crazy is:
I was looking at the stud ads on here and i find a dog advertised for a stud that is like 16 months old! AND He's a LH! AND when you go to the "breeder's" website he is already a "proud father" AND he was bred to a dutch shepherd.
and that is what dives me crazy!!!

Look, it is terrible they are selling "poo" crosses for $2000 in petstores too.
Nothing will change until the public is more educated. Not a darn thing.
People will charge what the market will bear. We can educate but in the end sometimes all we can do is shake our heads.
Money drives the market.

That highly trained Shepois may be worth every penny or that $4000 to a security company or someone who needs a personal protection dog. His breeding doesn't shorten his ability. As long as he isn't used for breeding to your GSD, what do you all care?

I agree with 4pack, I have seen a lot of GSD/Mal mix dogs for around that much, but they are being sold for work (police, detection, etc) I dont mind seeing a dog like that sold for that much if they are worth it, but i dont agree with selling puggles and labradoodles for 2000 in a pet store and i dont agree with mixing breeds...

what drives me crazy is trying to explain to someone that there is a difference between show lines and working lines.
his comment is a gsd is a gsd and there's no difference.

What drives me crazy is males dogs for sale listed under "studs". Litters or young puppies advertised under males or females for sale. Why even have separate catagories when some people will run the same ad under each one. There I said it!! Now I feel much better!! :)
