Bob-O

I have always taken great steps to protect my privacy when I had a litter on the ground, and would not publish my physical address or telephone number on my website. I worried about not only the theft of a puppy, but the exposure to disease that might occur should someone visit the kennel if I was not there. I think (I really hope!) this is an isolated case, as I have of course heard of dogs being stolen and sold either to dog fighters, testing laboratories, or other people. I sold a puppy once to a couple who had their GSD and other purebred dog stolen from a well-built kennel that had a six-foot fence. A determined thief is hard to stop. My dogs are at least as precious as anything else that I own, so criminals beware the dogs and beware the well-armed Bob. Bob-O

The only thing that I feel sorry are for the puppies and for the adult dogs. How can anybody charge so heavily for Yorkies? What's so special about them that makes them even worth the value of 1000 dollars?

It looks like an inside job to me. Wonder if that place was rented and equipt with renters insurance.. For someone to be armed in a robbery the bandit snagging the pups was sure not to touch the girl in pink. Looks fishy.

They actually showed it on our news broadcast tonight. The owners had video survalence of it on thier security camera's. The people who came in and stole the dogs/pups said they were interested in buying a puppy, that it why the address was 'known' to them. Hard to beleive people are so desparate!

Brittany,

Damn woman. That was a trip.  There's just the least little chance you totally, and inexplicably missed the entire point.

Don't get me wrong. I like that everyone is different and all. It just really made me chuckle. One of my best friends in school had an offbeat way of looking at things, too.  So I'm not putting you down.

And, as far as the price. It's the same as GSD's. Quality breeding, quality care, quality matings, and experienced breeder = a higher price. It's not an unheard of price for any good dog (even if they are nugget size :) )

Different titles: Mausehund 1, 2, 3 BTW someone would need to pay ME to own such a dog.

This is nothing new, we have been investigating dog nappers here in PA for over 25 years.
