Giggles take your dog to a vetrinarian for exam and opinion on the ears. The cutting of teeth also plays a role with the ears.

I would not be worried as of yet. My showline/West working line female didn't get her ears up until she was 8 months. The pups I have now, I was told to give them NutraJoint. Just using that for a week the pups ears are starting to go up. 3 out of 5 have their ears up and the other two are already half way up. You would want to get the caplets. I got mine at Walgreens. You can also check it out at http://www.neocellcorporation.com/products-collagen+c-tablets.htm I stand behind this and it does have collagen in it. You can go on the site and find a place that is closest to you or order it right from there. Hope this helps!!

Are you keeping her in a crate thats big enough to where her ears arent touching the top? It took my female till about 3 months for one ear to stand, then the other one at 4 months. I wouldnt be so worried just yet. Do your best not to touch or play with them.

I wouldn't worry too much yet, but if you are really nervous, as we all get from time to time, try this: Buy a package of foam-core hair curlers, (they do come in black, but the pink looks pretty cute too) some "surgical glue" (the kind they use for stoma bags on GI resection patients, found at surgical supply pharmacies/shops, and a roll of 1" waterproof first aid tape. Clean the puppy's ears well with isoprophyl (sp?) alcohol and allow to dry completely. Remove the plastic fastener from the curler and discard. Coat half of the foam roller with the surgical glue and allow to "cure" for a few minutes, till the glue is tacky. Place the roller in the puppy's ear lengthwise, the bottom just above the area where the cartilidge is wrinkled and hold firm for a few seconds till the glue attaches. Wrap about 3- 3 1/2" of the tape around the whole ear and roller at about the middle of the ear and press firm. By the time the roller falls out (2-3 weeks is normal) your pups ears should be pretty well set. If not, do it again. Note: Pups' ears tend to get a bit soft, often flop down off and on while teething, between about 15 and 20 weeks. Its nothing to be alarmed about as a rule, but at least you'll feel better about the whole issue if you support the ear in the meantime. I have never had an ear that did not stand up after I supported it with the above procedure. Good Luck! Shelley

I would agree with Kelly M. 3 mo. is usually too early to worry. However some other factors, were her ears ever up? Did they look like they want to go up at times? What is in her family? Are her parents from genetically solid lines that have good ears or are they from breedings that have poor ears? I think more American lines have this problem. If you are in doubt about her genetics re. ears, then there are some good ways of getting them up, but I think you should do some research before posting here. You do not want to rush in if they will come up on their own, likewise you do not want to wait too long if you have reason to believe they will not come up.
