I SERIOUSLY NEED HELP!! - Page 1

I have a problem with this so called person that has tampered with the pedigree's of my dogs and I would like to know if I can block anyone from doing so. The same person has been harrassing me with emails, that I can handle, but when they start messing with the pedigree's of my dogs, well that puts it on a whole other level. So anyone that can help me on this situation I would very much appreciate it. A THANK YOU for anyone that can help me with this disturbance.

Kelly, on one (1) of his 2006 posts Oli (Olafur Tryggvason) indicated that when the current pedigree database is replaced by the new one that a type of pedigree "lock" would be present. I recall he said that a person could change only their dog(s), and that their access would be limited to a maximum number of dogs, say, fifty (50) total. It is no doubt aggravating that someone is doing this, but at this time I am not sure that anything can be done, aside from contacting Oli. You can try that, and identify the person through his/her handle and e-mail address and ask if their database access can be removed. Darned shame, I agree. Bob-O

Bob-O, you wouldn't happen to know Oli's email so I can do this. I am really close to losing my Irish temper on this person, it's bad enough I have to put up with their emails but now their changing the pedigree's of my dog's. What I think is kind of funny is this person will not give me their full real name just their initials and email. If I can have Oli's email I will do exactly that and hope he isn't to busy. Kelly I have had the same issue in the past and emailed Oli, he has sorted it immediately. I even had the person manage obtain my password and type nasty comments under some of my dogs. It is really frustrating I know but bear with it. The difference is I know who is actually doing it and it just proves the sad little twisted minds that they have but to be honest you are the better person for not rising to the bait. Oli I am sure will amend the database for you without any issues and he is normally very quick at amending it too. Also something people should bear in mind is that your IP address can be tracked, which if Oli decides to do so will and these people can be reported to their internet service provided as nuisance users which can give them some grief and hopefully they will stop. take care mandy

Thank You again Bob-O. I just emailed Oli and I really hope this is put to a stop! I shouldn't have to keep going in and fixing the pedigree's of my dog's. It also makes me sad that some one will take the time to do this without knowing the person that owns the dog's, just being cruel and vindictive. I am just so tired of this person and if anyone want's to know I have no problem with that. I might not say who it is on here, but you can email me, but then again I just might the way I'm feeling right now. I would like to know if anyone else has had problems with this person?

Thank You Mandy, I do wonder if we have the same person though. Honestly, it all started since I've been advertising my puppies on here. I have been getting nasty emails, and the one I just recieved I have not answered back, so this is what they do, go into the pedigree's and change them with nasty comments as well left on their pedigree. It's like, GROW up all ready we are not in high school anymore. I'm trying to be really good about it but like I said earlier, my Irish temper is about to show. Thanks Again Mandy

well i have to commend you on being the bigger person here as stated before, don't lose your temper that's what people like this are wanting to happen, don't know why they find it funny or that their sick little minds find it amusing, as since i'm new here and look at almost all of the ad's and pedigree's to see more of what makes the gsd's i'm trying to learn about, and how the bloodlines show the traits and such. well to the person doing this your welcome that i can be in a foreign country defending your right to not only mess with good people but also confuse those of us that are trying to learn. respectfully, kenny @ oif

Thank You KKR Gsd02, This person did get me upset the first time they emailed me saying my puppies are mixed with whatever, so I did fall for it and get into an agrument over emails, but now that I'm not answering their nasty emails, they decide to go on the puppies mother's pedigree and change it and Leave a message in big bold lettering that was totally uncalled for. So is this what I have to put up with when I don't get into a yelling match over their emails with them? Thanks A LOT for everyone understanding, and nice helpful comments.

kelly, being deployed to iraq for the second time I CAN UNDERSTAND frustration. the internet is my outlet, i've found that researching gsd's calm's me and gives me something wonderful to look forward to, my new dog i'm getting over leave, and that i can start training with wehn i get home this fall. the guy's here think i've lost my mind as theri talking about politic's and how it's going over here and what we should do, i'm telling them what i've learned about dog's and how it all makes sense now why dog's do what they do and can't wait to learn more.so excuse my language but f$#k these people that have to stoop to grade school level to be amused with their pathetic life. just my .02 kenny
