Adding titles? - Page 1

Im going to be purchasing "Orenda Vom Rittmeister" from Germany in March of this year. I added her picture but I cant seem to figure out how to add her titles? She has her SchH1 FH1 KK1 titles already. I want to get Sch3 title also, so should I wait to add them, or is it ok to do it now and change them later? Thanks in advance. Andrea

I would go ahead and put it on now. You can always go back and add on.

You can not get a SchH 3 before you get a SchH 2. Most people would consider putting a title that the dog does not have on a site like this to be disingenuos, if not downright dishonest. Finally, just a technicality, a KKL1 rating is not a title, but a rating given at a breed survey. If the dog has that, yes, you should record that, along with the hip rating.

Hodie, Think you misunderstood, as she was asking if she should add the SchH1, FH1, Kkl1 now, and then the SchH3 once the dog achieved that title, as I understand it.... Andrea, I would add whatever titles she has now, and add the SchH2, SchH3 as she obtains those. :) Congrats on your upcoming female! Please keep us posted on how things progress, and good luck! Yes I know that we must have a SchH2 before we get 3, but I was just asking if I should wait until we got her SchH3 (in the end)before I added her titles. Sorry about the confusion. Also does anyone know what the info one the fourth line down means? I translated it and part of it means "breed" & "excellent"?? I know everything else but havent found that out.. I think it was the location maybe?? Im probably 100% off though lol. VomFelsenHof, Thanks very much, thats exactly what I was asking :). I will keep posted about her titles as she achieves them, but she is my first Schutzhund so I am realllly excited to finally get her!

It means that at the Show taking part on the 14th August she got excellent.

GSDandrea, As cage said,she paticipated at a show on 14th of August and achieved an excellent. To clarify this for you a bit further : There are " Ortsgruppen " shows, which means a show of a local club. Meaning, most likely competition will not very strong and clases are rather small. Then there are " Landesgruppen " shows, which means this is a show of a hole state. In Germany we have simular to the US, single states. The " Landesgruppe 09 " is Hessen - Nord. Now, in a "Landegruppenschau" the competition is stronger and and the clases are bigger. So to speak, an excellent in a Landesgruppenschau is considert to be pretty good. Only show and rating that are considerd even better would be the Hauptzuchtschau. Congrats and good luck with your new assesment ! Regarts Ulli Dresbach
