In addition to my post from a couple of days ago, here are some pictures of the female in the litter who appears to be a longcoat. There is an obvious difference between her and her brothers, but I just want to get some opinions on whether or not she really is a longcoat. Thanks in advance....

A true long-coat (without undercoat) or rather a long stock-coat (with undercoat)? I vote for the latter, as I do not see the waviness that is usually present in the former. I think I am correct, but the passage of time will show the true coat type.

Not sure about the coat, but I have to say that is one of the prettiest puppies I've ever seen.

Thank you for your comments. I really like this girl and have hopes of keeping her and titling her, but if she is a longcoat, (please don't kill me for saying this longcoat lovers!) I can't do that. If I do all the work to raise and title her, I will want to breed her at some point, and I will not breed a longcoat. They are beautiful dogs....aren't all GSDs?...but just not what I want to produce. I really appreciate everyone's input and will keep my fingers crossed that this little girl will shed her puppy coat and grow in a stock coat. Thanks again!

I love your pictures, they are really nice!
I had a pup that was sired by a full coated GSD, and he was sooooo
fluffy, but he turned out to be regular coat.
17 days old!

I've got to tell you, he was the fluffiest pup I ever had, but he turned out regular coat, That's
his half brother in the middle,he was 1 out of 12 pups, the sire was coated, but yet not 1 coated pup.
This is their dad...
I love my dogs & it's so much fun dealing with their individual personalities and quirks, they are
way too entertaining to watch!!
Happy New Year!!!

Rockinrkranch, no need to wait, you can have her DNA tested for around $50.
