Oli, The topic brought up about increasing the longivity and selecting dogs who are part of the 13 club gave me an idea. Would you consider adding a blank that can be filled in when registering/editing a dog that gives the day it died and from what, if known? Maybe even a search tool for how long a dog lived. That would be awesome. Others, If you read this and agree that the above would be beneficial to the breed, please add your support and bump it up.

Amysue, the best method to communicate this with Oli is to send him a PM. He responds to those quickly. Regards, Bob-O

I was wondering about this. Our beloved Ibo is listed in the pedigree's. How do I or should I list his ? He died at 7 years and 3 months. For all those who own puppies from his line. I didn't list him originally, so I don't know much about how this works.

Tamm Jo, you can list the date of Death, and Cause on the Comments, press add Comment on that dog's pedigree & Picture Page to add

Yes I agree this would be great info if correct.

Thank you, I did leave this comment. And it is indeed correct. Sad but correct.

Of course the concern would be if it is indeed correct. My suggestion would be for those who owned the dog at time of death and know (not speculate) the cause to put contact information to add extra credibility. For those who heard "Soandso" died of whatever can add it as hearsay and should note it as such. Then when researching a dog's lines, it would be up to the breeder how cautious and picky they chose to be. If done right, I believe it can be a great contribution to the breed! Does anyone know of a site that lists this type of information?

We were the owner at the time of our dog's . And I understand your concern, anyone can hop on and lie thru their teeth and yet I am leery to leave our contact information.
