I just heard from the grapevine that Vegus has a very poor front and produces this. It is hard to tell from a stacked picture how he moves but I think both his shoulder and upper arm are short but balanced with each other. Any other comments. Thanks CV

I happen to be looking at the time you posted of a pic of VP1 Vegas vom Mittelwest , so would you please make a little clearer who and what dog you are talking about....this was in an email to someone about females in the Schutz magazine and I looked up and my eyes did a cross Vegas and Vegus boy and girl.....

Yellowrose,
caji is talking about Vegas du Haut Mansard, of course. http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/441845.html
I looked at him when I was in Germany this year at the Sieger Show and could not see anything wrong with his front, but it was mentioned that he produces stretched dogs. I was planning to breed my Rikkor-daughter to either him or Pakros next spring.

I had seen his name in the list on a site that was all in german , and I got frustrated trying to read it...a week or so ago...I knew she had to be talking about a Seiger candidate to be VA 4. I put his name in the quick search using Vegas and nothing came up so I could post it....didnt know the whole name.....thanks Im sure most of you in the german circle knew exactly who it was
At the time she posted...I was looking at the Sieger magazine of 2006 and looking at VP1 # 277 Vegas vom Mittlewest and reading her critique,,,,went to out base to post something and almost fell off the chair....someone posted VA4 Vegus and I thought I was seeing things......
Funny how the events of a night go.....then I couldnt find the place I saw the list for the Sieger in Germany that I had gone to...
Thanks You never did tell me about you knowing Sunrise Kennels in Irving Texas....the old owner? I dont know the person that owns it now....just the former...she still here not far from me..........

Yellowrose,
that was Diane Henry, one of the nicest ladies in the sport back in the early to mid 90s. She came up to a couple of shows in our region (Northeast - NY south to VA) with two other great ladies. We used to have a great time. Too bad she got out of GSDs.
