In Princeton NJ, a family dog, Congo, has been declared "vicious" by municipal Judge Russell Annich Jr.. Because of this, he may be ordered put to sleep, this coming Tuesday. His crime? A landscaper came onto the property of the dog's owner, a full hour earlier than the scheduled appt, Guy and Elizabeth James, after being told to wait. Congo and the family's other dogs started to bark. One of the landscapers' started hitting the dogs with a metal rake. Elizabeth James started to yell at him to stop. So, the landscaper grabbed Elizabeth, from behind, and pulled her to the ground. Congo, thinking that his owner was being attacked, did what ANY good dog should do. He tried to protect his owner. The landscaper was bitten, and injured, as he should have been. Now, for being a good dog, Congo might be put to sleep.

Help save Congo! Here is what we can do!! We really need to back these people. This could have happened to any one of us. Maybe not the exact scenario but something similar.

Please email Judge Annich and show your support for the James family and Congo by coming to a rally at the Princeton Township courthouse on Tuesday, November 13th, at 10 AM.

The address for the Courthouse is 400 Witherspoon Street, Princeton, NJ 08540

If I understand your post above, the landscaper should be charged with assault on Elizabeth.  Your post is a littlehard to understand.

What does "she started to yell" mean.  She yelled or she didn't, not that it matters if she was assaulted by the landscaper.  This statement (quoted below) needs to be explained more before we start to write letters to a Judge.  There is something missing.  Why would the landscaper grab Elizabeth and pull her to the ground for yelling?

"Elizabeth James started to yell at him to stop. So, the landscaper grabbed Elizabeth, from behind, and pulled her to the ground."

Same thing happened in Galveston to a family with two shepherds, both in Schutzhund training one inside and one in the backyard.., the Pest Control was to suppose to call to owner before dispatching the truck to her address, every month, as gates are padlocked in front and middle and back gates.....

Co.  dispatched the driver and new helper to the address, and being the gates were locked,,,paid no attention to signs, and helper jumped over the front  fence , while driver got chemicals......never even noting the warning on the comptor read out , that said   owner must be called before entering this yard.

Of course , they couldnt get to the back yard as an 8 foot privacy cedar fence was unable to be jumped over not opened....

A week went by and the owner received a bill for the services,,,,,ha haha   did the bells start to chime.....if the male dog , who was out in back that day,,,had gotten to the man in the yard,,,if would have been in the headlines....he is a total territorial boy and that is his yard and with a tool in his hand like a big sprayer......he would have had to jump a fence in 2.3 seconds......can any of you do that...

End of story was,,,Co.  didnt complete a job as ordered only the front yard done,,,second , they put the owner in a libelous way...Customer didnt pay that bill and  Co.   lost their contract....

could have been  like this story.
