"he is skinny due to me not being able to feed the good food I used to feed"

by Kelly M Shaw on 01 September 2007 - 18:09
That is beyond SAD It's pathetic!!! Here's a thought? Have they ever thought of taking him to the vet to see if he has stomach issues or anything else wrong with him? I'm sorry but to me that is a sad and lame excuse for that dog or any other to be that skinny!!!

Pathetic. He looks terrible - too thin and his coat is dull too. Awful.

Kelly, you TOTALLY miss the point! This is a distress sale, the owner is saying I can't AFFORD to feed him the good, expensive food any more!
DUH!!

That is beyond SAD It's pathetic!!! I agree with you Kelly M Shaw.He looks very small for a 13 month old. They need to do right by these dogs and place them with someone that can feed and take care of them right.I have 15 GSD and sometimes it gets hard but i always make sure they are taken care of first. There is nooooooooo excuse for this.

The full sister for sale looked much better. I hope they both find good homes.

Sunsilver,
I'm sorry but I think you miss the point!!! The dog should be able to gain the weight on any kind of food, UNLESS

by Kelly M Shaw on 01 September 2007 - 18:09
Sorry hit the wrong key,
Anyway Sunsilver,
The dog should be able to gain weight on any type of food, UNLESS there are hidden issues that their vet could easily do several test's to make sure there is nothing wrong with the dog. I can't afford the expensive food myself(like EVO,and etc) but my dog's definitely do not look like that. If I was to buy this poor dog, I would want test results to make sure there are no problems health wise with him, especially that animules said that his full sister looked much better. It makes me wonder what is the issue with him?

She is doing the right thing. Which is to do the best thing for the dog. Inspite of risking criticism, she had the courage to post an ad here. I hope that the dogs find great homes.

yes, she is doing the right, if she can't take care of them its best to find them a good home...but...i agree with kelly about the food, i feed my dog cheaper food and most consider him over weight, cheaper food has nothing to do with this dogs weight, maybe not enough food- but not because its cheaper
