I was wondering if anybody out there has this truck? If so please tell me what you guys think about it? Is it known to break down easy? What are your views on it? Is this vehicle a gas hog?

I have one and love it. Gas mileage is descent. Actually this is  my 3rd one and I will get another after this one. The only thing I have had to replace are the brake pads.

Just sold my F-150 because I had too many vehicles and it just sat in the driveway most of the time.  Great truck though I don't know if I would believe 30 MPG.  Mine got about 20 as did my Explorer.

30 mpg on a truck - no way.  You might get 20+ if it's small-block and 6 cyl.  I have a Chevy 2500 Duramax Diesel, 6.6 liter turbo - extended cab longbed 4X4.  LOVE IT.  Gets 20 in town and 23 or so highway.

I have a 2007 F-150 and LOVE IT! Gets around 19-23 MPG depending on Highway or town. Works great, this is the fourth one I have, and I have never had any problems with any of them.

I have the 2006 F-150, 4 door, fully loaded and I hate to say it but, my gas mileage sucks even on the highway.  I generally do not beat 17mpg.  However, this is the only downfall to the truck that I can see.  I love it, love it, love it.  It rides super nice...more like a nice suv than a truck.  I needed something large enough for the whole family, groceries, etc but, still have a vehicle to load our 4 wheelers, tow a trailer, etc. without having multiple vehicles sitting in the driveway.  I owned a Dodge Ram 2500 before this.  This truck has so many more add ons than my dodge which makes it more of a luxury truck than my Dodge.  Although, I liked the body style of my Dodge better.

I'd love to put a lift on it and bigger tires but, gosh, not with this mileage.  Besides, my dogs would have a harder time getting in and out then.
