Have any of you all heard about this groups apparant misleading Americans to raise funds? I have also heard this group raised millions to rescue "Katrina" dogs but never spent a dime doing so?

I get so tired of all the money raising going on as you never know if it's legit or cons taking advantage over good hearted people who want to support needs.

Any time HSUS or PETA want to raise funds for animal protection just consider it a fraud and move on.  If you feel a need to donate to help animals, give some to your local vet that donates his/her time to fre or reduced rate spay/neauter clinics.  Give some to you local animal control. Give some to your local rescue.  Those funds would go to good use as opposed to how the PETA and HSUS funds are spent.

ok probably going to get blasted for this.

PLEASE check out my web site..

www.sardogfoundation. we are a 501 C3 the site explains who we are shows a copy of non-profit states. We are registered in State of New Jersey.

This year we gave grant money to 2 sar handlers to replace 2 retiring dogs both of which worked 911. To correct a HUGE misconception" The dogs don't just show up and NO the government does not pay us provide the dogs or pay vert bills. The only ones getting everything for free are police dogs, or fire department sar dogs. The majority of handlers are volunteers.

Lost child, alzheimers patient, hiker, building collapse etc. THe volunteers leave their family, jobs etc and go out to do what is right asking  for nothing. If each person donated 1 dollar and asked all their friends to donate 1 dollars perhaps we can assist even more handlers.

I hope you don't get blasted.  I should have had SAR on my list of good donation places.  Thanks for the reminder and link.
