What is the question exactly?

I use hair driers all the time for my allergic dog who gets many baths.  For her, better to be dry than wet (which makes more mold).

It's standard procedure with most show people to use hair driers after bathing.  In fact, often the "ducks" giant driers are used, meant to sit next to the crate.  They're usually more powerful than standard cosmetic hair driers.

Dog blow dryers are awesome. If you have a dog that is blowing coat you can blow it all out with minimal effort.

My Orbis got skunked last night, and after bathing him this morning I used my leaf blower to dry him off.  Took about fifteen minutes or so to get him almost completely dry, and the leaf blower also does a great job of blowing out any remaining loose undercoat.  I also like the fact that the leaf blower isn't blowing hot air on him as a hair dryer would.

Unfortunately he's still a little smelly, so I'll have to repeat the process later today before he's allowed back in the house.

Are you using the magic skunk formula, the peroxide/baking soda mix? It REALLY does work!!

thank you for the feedback.using a dryer for dogs is useful to blow of the dead inner coat.the hair looks glossy. My dog's hair looks compressed and very much attached to the body.So if i use a blower it would look glossy and silky.

I use the "Air Force Commander" at my grooming shop, One day I will get one of the mega dryers but this works fine for our needs. There are several good reasons to use a dryer on your dogs, the number 1 being as the dog dries, it does blow the loose shed hair off but once you get 80-90 % dry the hair really flies off the dog! Some days at the shop it looks like it is snowing hair lol ANother good reason is so that you dont have a moist dog sitting around for hours, thats just asking for Yeast ( fungal) issues. the one I use run about 149.00 dependingon where you get it. It is more than worth the money
