I mentioned that I might post this video for some to see in a different thread. So here it is, the long anticipated video of me working my lovely couch potato in the front yard with distractions (you'll see what I mean) for all to see. It was oppressively hot that day, as it always is in Alabama, but Ol'couch potato (Baron Vom Ulf Haus) did a pretty good job paying attention for a few heeling passes. I did the recall pretty fast because I only had a few seconds left before the camera died.
You can slay me, compliment me, or make fun of me. I never claimed to be a world class trainer, but I think for a self trainer guy I do alright. This would have gotten me a BH for sure (and yes I realize it isnt the actual Sch 1 pattern) but anyways enjoy.
p.s. I gave myself permission to post this on YouTube.....

FliP: Did you attend the 2006 AWDF chanpionship in Gadsden, Alabama?

Flip- I love your "couch potatoe"; he's beautiful and for a self trained trainer I think it looks pretty darn good to me. Better than some I've seen that go to a trainer. lol Keep up the nice work.

Luvmidog,
no I wanted to, but couldnt make it. I live 30 minutes from Gadsden. Last time I was there was for the 02 nats. What an awesome time! It is a very good venue for the spectators and in November the weather is actually quite nice, it finally starts to cool off!

Oh, and the video cuts it off but this dog does not "flip finish" in case you were wondering. He goes around behind me and usually appears again at my left side. Once or twice he goes behind me and then pulls a houdini on me. He sometimes needs mr. pinch collar to remind him about that....but he is one heck of a snuggler....

very nice. i like the barefeet! was the other dog on a stay or just content to stand there and watch?

Rezkat,
That was my female (before we had to put her down) and she was content to "watch". I thought maybe she would get the idea and be easier to train. I was wrong......

Flipp you have a very nice looking dog :) You two are doing very good in obedience :) Have you thought about getting your dog a BH title?I think you should look into getting 1 for your dog :) I'm sure you guys will do just fine at the trial :)
By the way heres some videos of me working with Zambi.
