I used Vertex for over 6 years. Maybe closer to 10 years. Maybe it was called Peak Performance back then when I used to feed green tripe. My dogs were always very healthy dogs because I ATV them every other day and swim them the other day. ATVing up & down mountains. My dogs have to eat the best. I stopped using Vertex over a year ago. I began using 100 % Whey Protein powder in their daily diet along with 1 lb. of 90% lean raw ground beef and Eukanuba Premium Performance (Now called Active). They also get 1 raw egg a week  and cod liver oil once a week.Whey Protein is used by body builders. All of my dogs are on this diet from age 1 month. I must say that I do not believe in any of the advertised supplements that are marketed today that target our sport. Why pay for fancy labels  with all kinds of claim to fame when there are other options available? You can order electrolyte granules from an equine suplier and formulate your own go juice for a fraction of the cost. The same as using Heartguard Plus. Why not order a 50cc bottle of Ivermec and administer it monthly?  Ivermectin is the active ingredient in Heartguard Plus. I also have my competition dogs on Next Level for longetivity with their joints. I have some healthy dogs!!!!!!!!!!
