Could someone explain line breeding to me? I'm not sure I understand exactly what it means?

It is using the same dog more than once in a pedigree - breeding relatives.. for example a granddaughter of "Dog A" to a grandson of "Dog A". The resulting pups would gbe linebred on Dog A. It is much more involved than this, with Dog A appearing twice in the third generation, and once in fourth you could show linebreeding 3,3-4 on Dog A.
That should give the general gist of it anyway. Linbreeding can be a good thing or a bad thing. It is a double-edged sword. You will magnify the bad points as well as the good points of the dog that is used for linebreeding.
