I'm going to hazard a guess, and say Ursus or a close Ursus descendant. It's hard to tell from a thumbnail, though. Oli's probably the only one who can tell us for sure.

I think that's just a shaft of sunlight, GoldenElk. Light conditions can do weird things to a dog's colouring. Here's a link to Urus's photo in the database for comparison. http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/6186.html And yes, I'm positive that's a showline dog.
Is Ursus still alive? It's amazing how he 'stamps his get' as horsemen say! You can sometimes even spot offspring that are 3 generations removed from him!
Anyone here ever see him work?

For example, I just had to take one look at this bitch, and I knew there was Ursus in her pedigree:

Yup, she's an Ursus grand-daughter!

If it is Ursus it's not the same picture that is in the db. The rope/line in the backround isn't in the db pic. I think it is Oli's little secret, this question has been posted before without an answer that I have seen... :-)

What if that dog does not exist...??> Theresa and I had been asking OLI for the dogs name... to no reply... It maybe a trick under Oli's sleeves...A surprize maybe... :) Nevertheless I want to contradict what GoldenELK said about the roach, I think its a pretty normal back to todays standards...
Have a nice vday :) Marci

So GoldenElk... you're into working lines... or are you...??? You have a new set of GSD standards other than S.V. or the FCI standards...???
