proofing the a frame - Page 1

I'd like to know some of your thoughts on how to proof the a frame for a trial in particular.  both times my dog and i have trialed, this has been a blown exercise.

i've gotten some ideas, but i'm certainly open to more.

A bit more information would be helpful.

How was the dog originally taught the A frame? with lines, handler help, clicker?

What is the dogs attitude to the A frame in training?

And what part of the exercise did the dog blow in the trials? outwards jump, return jump , both or the retrieve?

How to proof the exercise will very much depend on how it was taught and what the actual problem is.
