What is the difference between the 5980 and 5982 sleeve? Which one is for Trial use.  I have always used both at the club I used to train at.  I am going to get my own sleeves and was wondering the difference.  Also, if anyone has any other suggestions on good comfortable sleeves feel free to chime in.

Thanks

Shawn

FRABO or GAPPAY

http://www.dogsportgear.com/bite_bar_trial_sleeves.htm     My favourite also. 82 or 84 we have used for trials. The 84 will show a better or poorer grip from the dog due to constuction. The 82 is better for grip work and still suitable for trialing.  Bob

Schweikert the 80 arm or aircraft carrier as we call it at our club is a training sleeve with a big bite bar. Also it requires a special sleeve cover

from Schweikert. Like the 84 & 83 arms.

The best sleeve is what you feel comfortable in and like. Every body has different opinions. If you can try the sleeve on rather than ordering over the net.

For suggestion...

Gappay and Frabo as mentioned.

Was surprised about Ray allen trial sleeve very lite about 3lbs..Made in the USA ...but $200

Bende has come up as far as sleeves...I  am currently using the 16 arm, short bitebar that I bought from elitek9 and love it.

I like the Ebinger sleeves have had one at our club for close to 8 years and has held up great.... but would recommend if  you wanted one to order directly from Ebinger and not the US rep.
