What age do you think is the best, to start working with crate training a pup?

Puppies from my litters are started crate training at about 6 weeks old

What do you find is the most successful way to train them at that age? And do you have any tips?

Give them time to explore and play, eat, etc. before closing the door. Then always give them a toy or chew of some kind with the door closed. Start with just short periods and build up to longer.
