heck, barney would never shoot a dog.  the dog would run him off.  he'd go get andy.  andy would pull a bone out of his pocket for the dog.  they'd walk right up to the door, have a chat about what should and shouldn't be done.  no papers would be served, but the situation would be resolved.  everybody lives happily ever after and barney walks away hitching up his drawers, sniffing sideways and acting like he accomplished the entire thing on his own.  andy would go home to supper with opie and aunt bea.  :) :) :)

I think they should elect Andy Griffith as the sheriff for this county. This officer was only allowed to have one bullet in his service revolver. WHO THE HELL GAVE HIM THE EXTRA 6 BULLETS. If this was the case it wouldn’t have been so ugly.   

LOL.. I bet that was the reason he shot Max 7 times, He fired his 1^st and only bullet and missed then he realized that he shot himself in the pant leg, so that really pissed him off, then he pulled a 6 round speed loader from his socks, and in a fit of rage he unleashed his anger on this poor dog.  JMO

Andy is going to be real upset about this.

I have been holding my tongue because I don't want to give this spineless piece of shit the attention he so hopelesly needs but.......

I hope by now everyone here knows "Funk Man" is not a cop. Here are the reasons

1) He doesn't know the difference between when a cop can draw vs discharge their weapon.

2) He supposedly sends a letter to this deputies Sheriff recommending he be fired. (Cops don't do that)

3) He completely avioded my questions about the pictures showing the scene.

4) He doesn't know the difference between shooting tactics and ballisitics

5) His "Deputy should have shot himself in th foot" theory (That was a joke)

6) His brags about arresting a correctional officer. Cops don't do this either because we know that one bad apple reflects on all officers. If this were to happen it would be handled by the officer's department internally. The arrest would have been performed by the investigators or someone from the DA's office. He did all this within a few weeks of his supposed 13 week tour in Iraq.

7) He posted this picture and thread.

8) He claims to be in the military. (Military officers and cops have good relationship because we understand each others jobs and what we do. A great number of cops were/are in the military.

I believe "Funk Man" and "seriously" are the same person. He gets to play both sides of the fence so he can gain acceptance from everyone. He can be the "hero good cop" and the rough "cops cop" all at the same time, in addition to being the Iraq war hero.

He needs to do this so he can feel some sort of self worth. He can be something here he could never be in real life. He can pretend to be a real man instead of the boy who got beat up by the guys who really became cops and soldiers. The nerd kid that so wanted to be accepted by the jocks.

This guy is a spindless liar and coward. Someone who has no worthy life and must make up an imaginary on via the internet. He tries to bring disgrace to an honerable profession because he wishes he could do the job, but is not man enough and carries no integrity. He is neither a cop or a soldier.

Funk--Watch your episode of "Cops" tonight and think about how bad you want to be something you can never be. Then go crawl back in the hole you have been in the last few months you worm.

2.) What is your fascination with me being a police officer? Do you actually think that every police office is going to shut his/her mouth to "protect" Deputy Wrong? I hate to tell you sweetheart, but I have integrity and I stand up for what I believe in. Get over it.

3.) I NEVER professed myself to be a hero. You sound ridiculous. I said I had just returned from another short tour. I have 12 years in the U.S. Army with assignments to the 82nd Airborne div. and 7th SF group. Dont ever even begin to tell me Im not in the military you lazy puke.

Perhaps it is YOU that is ashamed at your career and life? I have excelled in everything  have done.

I agree and I have seen it happen several times.

Re-read my post. Let me clarify.

When refering to Funk's supposed arrest of a CO. What I ment by "cops don't do that" is that a cop would not post on an open forum about arresting another cop. Cops know there are bad apples and they reflect negatively on the profession.

Cops do arrest other cops but they don't go on a public forum talking about it. Not only does it negatively reflect on the profession, it would be unprofessional.
