hey, i took my dog out this weekend and took great photos of him. although my stacking is not perfect yet,but it's pretty good for "do it by yourself"; i'm just really amazed at how my dog is put together. He has a large head and bone and compact, not at all traits of a american line shep, I never noticed until now, i am very pleased. i think the advise people gave me  on picture taking helped.

I can promise you that some day you'll get that almost perfect stack picture of your dog :)

Just keep practicing.

by the way.. Here's a result of "do it by yourself" stacking
http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/442063.html
done by myself. I won the lottery (I should of gotten myself some tickets on the same day!)  that day and gave Zambi special treats that night for doing it so well.

The best way to stack your own dog is to get him/her to learn the "stay" command. It would be for the best if the dog has some obedience under his belt.

It looks to me like his/her back feet are too wide.  Bring them a little closer together.
