I am not one to panic or worry generally, but in all my years for some reason I have never seen this, not like this.  My male vomited tonite..ok, no big deal. Yellowish, still no big deal. I guiaced it ..trace blood, still I am not worried. Then he RAN out ate grass and drank water.Still not worried.but,I started to think this was odd,at least for him. He didn't drink alot or eat much grass,I pulled him in. He came back in for a bit-20 minutes and then vomited again and this time it was yellow paste+grass. Didn't strike me as too unusual but ......I don't know ......something just isn't sitting right with me with this.I don't know why. Usually I am very good at picking things up.At least for other patients and dogs.I would especially like to hear from our nurses, doctors, vets, paramedics, emt's,breeders, dog owners, lovers ,etc, as well as everyone else who may have a perspective. You know how it is. You can diagnose someone else's problem easy but when it's your's...He Definately did not get into anything besides his regular dog food. He was by my side all day and everyday. He eats RC GSD Maxi 24.
Another thing, and I know this is ridiculous but he has two bitches in heat. He is not going nuts with them, they are both early heat.Thank you ahead of time, all help is appreciated. His vital signs are WNL.

I feel like I am missing something.

I wouldn't think that  a dog vomiting twice in one day would be too unusual.. how is he acting?? Is he interested in his food?? any diarrhea???

YELLOWISH Clear LIQUID in the vomit plus plenty of froth...??? i encounter this quite frequenty say when I try to reduce the food intake for my bitch because im not going to work her for a week... It looks like as if she's getting hyperacidity and regurgirates the extra fluid in her stomach... I also notice this event when shes trying to end her whelping period, when her pups around 3 months.

Eating grass...what i know is, this is their way of either getting bulk inside their stomach to lessen the gas and fluid fermenting inside... and a way to inducing to VOMIT to somewhat lessen what they have inside their guts before they go to work like gait training and pulling the lead.

I had a bad experience letting my dogs play all day in the yard...one time I think my 6 year old was hungry and enjoyed hunting small animals...I think she killed a toad and ate some on its innerts...she went back to the front porch vomiting and having seizures, I was only able to get her in control and calmed by pushing GRANULATED SUGAR down her throat... I noticed her eating grass possibly to induce herself to vomit what she's eaten...

To LOL, this bitch had already eaten innerts of i think two goats already... and to think I feed her well before going to bed (2--8oz.cups @ least)... I saw her the next morning running around and excersing by herself under the sun and was very happy...all blood and grin in the face... I thought she had fought with another animal...trying to look for the goat that was just leased to me..I thought the goat was just sleeping...Nyeee... like a wolf tore the stomach from inside out (it happen twice)
