Well I can say that I guess if I have bred two litters I was a breeder. I am in the middle of trying to train the one female(Bellah) for her first title. I am working the one male Jake he is hearding for me and boy he has drive. Never formally trained and boy he dose it like a champ.And I show my Black male in conformation.He has taken best in breed and best in show 3times.
I am O.K. with feedback it just is readying me for what is yet to come. I have a bigger back bone then most think .I can take it.
I am working tward alot of different angels. I guess when I find my nitch I will feel at home!!!!!!!!

Good for you Kiserhoff! You do need thick skin on this board! But ya know what , just cuz you bred 2 litters and that makes you a breeder, it doesn't make you a murderer!

Though there's probably some people on this board who'd WANT to murder you, 'cuz those litters were both [shudder!] WHITE GSD's!!
'Course show people think Shepherds only come in ONE colour, black and red!

If you re-read my post......I simply asked ...."What are your goals as a breeder"?......I am not "bashing" you,..nor trying to be judgemental.
You stated somewhere in an earlier post, that you were considering future "breedings".....you then asked for opinions about the specific female in this topic....I gave my "personal" opinion,...again....this is in regards to her being a "breeding" prospect.
I also stated that there are excellent breeders on this forum, and MUCH can be learned from many!
Take the knowledge that you can learn from the success and errors of others, and use it to your best advantage.....
Whatever "animals" that you are blessed to have has companions,..love them, provide shelter & nourishment and care not of anyone's "opinion" of their "looks"..............BUT, if you plan to breed in the future.....please choose wisely, and do the best you can do.

I am thinking about a pup out of his grandson (long coat male)
but not to sure about him...
