Slightly off-topic, but one of the biggest belly laughs I ever had was when reading the foreward of Koehler's Basic Dog Training book. I still quote it from time to time. Can't say I was impressed with his guard dog training book, but back when it was written many of us were still in our boot-camp days. SS

My opinion on his book is that his training method is not for most people. But he does alude to that in his book and discourges the average dog owner from doing it. I just like to read different methods and what brought this to my recollection was the posts on the training table and bite box posts..
