gsdlvr2---I'd have the elbow checked.

by gsdlvr2 on 18 July 2007 - 15:07

I've just given her a good exam. I checked toes, pads, between toes, nails, all her joints, and shoulder. Nothing going on, not obvious. She isn't limping now. I'm starting to wonder it she landed on a stone and hit her elbow, we all know how much that hurts for a while when you whack it just right. The limping has come and gone, but mostly right after the roll and screaming. She might be a drama queen and this is the first I'm seeing of it. She screamed so badly both times that it worried me. I will do an x-ray.

Kath,

I just did Pano boy again yesterday. 6 more x-rays just to make sure he didn't injure something, he was limping so bad. Everything looks fine, must be the pano and I can relax again. If it concerns you enough just shoot the x-rays for peace of mind.

We just got home from the vet. Wound up not doing an x-ray because her physical exam was negative and she is not currently limping. The vet said if it had been pano the long bones would have been painful to touch and they were not.. None of her joints were tender either.  We're going to keep an eye on her for now.

Thanks for your help everyone.
