The breeding fault would go back to the dog that had the nerve problem
Please tell us the names of the ddr dogs that have this.

Amysue,
If your dog is unsure around other people, keeping her further isolated doesn't seem like a good plan. It's like me saying, "I'm afraid of drowning when I swim so I'll stay out of the water, ...oh but I'll be a great swimmer one day."
Your female would likely benefit from some positive exposures to strangers in a controlled environment. This is where a SchH club can help you out, because people there are dog people and some may have had to deal with this before.
If that's not an option, you'll have to work out some scenarios on your own where you control the rules of the game. Don't just drag the poor bitch to Petsmart on a crowded Saturday and hope for the best. Contact me off-line if you like, as it's just not possible to spray out a bunch of "answsers" without knowing more about what's going on. However, your best bet is to find a good club that is willing to work with you.

Mvf
A CDX is a bit different than a protection title. With DDR dogs sometimes they don't muture as quickly, leaving the protection aspect of training a bit behind.

Vom Landholz, you should have received a reply from administration. Our site administrator has been away for several months with his job. We posted an announcement about that but was not able to post it on the main page. I can get you activated if you wish.
