Alternative or Complimentory Lines (revisited) - Page 1

Hello everyone. When referring to lines that compliment one another what is meant by that? For instance the discussion here is lines that compliment Ursus lines. Max/Visum lines was thrown out there how does these lines compliment Ursus lined animals? In what aspect, structure, pigment, temperament? Also what if your female already has Ursus/Max/Cash lines what would be some alternatives or compliments to those lines?

thats the problem with bringing up one line, it can't be true for each dog or female in those lines, its looking at your dog and the interest in breeding to. you need to look at your female and the compliments you feel are needed. just breeding in general on lines would cause more issues then we have. even tho sometimes it appears this is what breeders are doing. breeding is a Art not a science.

i really enjoy the thpughts . comments on this site --- so my question is ... complmentary to achieve what ?? my peresonal opinion -- the GSD is far from what the original intention of what is should be and although i won't claim to be anb expert -- but i can still see -- the GSD ... in many instances -- and i am talking about high V dogs --- many are far from standard -- case in point... look at the extreme arc and raoch backs -- and i mean extreme !! so what a laugh when we discuss complimenmary lines [ or should i say hypocrisy ] .. and secondly with all the line breeding and the recapitulation of the adverse pheotype and well as the adverse genotype -- ..hmm -- i should not even finish that discussion
